We’ve officially been in Hawaii for two months! It’s strange how it seems that time has flown by, but also that we’ve been here for quite a while. I’m currently enjoying my last day of break before work starts up again, and even though I’m not ready for work- it seems my mind is. I’m quite the list-maker when it comes to goals and keeping up with things so without further ado- here’s all that we’ve been up to in our last 60 days and some change:
2 snorkeling trips
8 hikes
2 summits
5 swims in the ocean
6 seasons of dexter
3 DIY projects
13 skypes to the mainland
5 times we’ve had sushi
7 cartons of eggnog
4 holidays (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years)

Elizabeth and Rich took John and I to the Honolulu Christmas Parade!

They had typical high school bands and some traditional hawaiian acts in the parade.
I don’t know about you, but I’d say this guy is the real nightmare before Christmas..

NYE!
Too many bags of Kona Coffee to count (we are actually going to see how many bags we go through in 2011!)
4 local hawaiian brews
6 bottles of wine
5 card nights
3 trips to the north shore
1 lunch out of a shrimp truck
2 trips to the swap meet
15 (give or take) times we’ve nearly hit someone walking in the street
5 times Rachel’s worn heels to work- every one comments on how tall I am. I don’t like being a giant to everyone, and I’m not even that tall!
2 months of two incomes :)
We’ve also paid off all of our debt besides my school loans and our car!
